Learning Centers

Strong reading skills are the foundation for success in school and beyond, yet many Arkansas students are falling behind. Fourth-grade students in our state are scoring below the national average in reading, with scores continuing to decline as of 2024. Under the 2023 LEARNS Act, starting in the 2025–2026 school year, students who do not meet third-grade reading standards will not be promoted to fourth grade without an exemption. That’s why the Boys & Girls Club is stepping in to provide extra reading help—giving kids the support they need now to build confidence, stay on track, and succeed in school.

1st & 2nd Grade:

Monday & Wednesday at 4:30pm

Tuesday & Thursday at 5:00pm

3rd & 4th Grade:

Monday & Wednesday at 5:00pm

5:00 - Manicure Design

4:30 - Manicure Design

5:00 - Bayblades (Group 2)

If your child is not scheduled to be in the Learning Center or if they are in a Interest Clubz, they are playing in either the Gym or the Game Room.
